FROM E-MAIL: Hey Shaved: Check out these Mother F-fkers's the city is giving them money for bullshit and they openly admit in the article they don't want to work with the Police - 71 percent reduction bullshit- they missed the vital organs - there has been 25 should have been murders in this piece of shit town.
ROCKFORD — A cluster of cards, candles, flowers and a makeshift cross are often the centerpiece of a communitywide prayer vigil held at the scene of a homicide and attended by grieving family members and friends.
Rockford has had more than its share of such gatherings.
Not this year.
In the first six months of the year, Rockford has recorded four homicides. It’s a 71 percent reduction compared with the 14 homicides recorded in the city over the same period in 2011.
CeaseFire, an antiviolence group that organizes the prayer vigils and marches, said it is not only law enforcement initiatives that have curbed the killings. Officials believe they, too, have played a role in the city’s homicide reduction for reasons not always visible to the public.
The local anti-violence program, revamped and under new leadership, is an integral part of the programming offered at the Booker Washington Community Center. Through the changes in leadership, a mainstay in the program has been outreach worker and former South Central L.A. gang member Roman Pavia.
“If people were to recognize and pay attention to the things we do, they would be in favor of the program,” he said.

Sharp-tongued as ever, Bill Beavers claims proof of innocence - He calls out-going US Attorney Patrick Fitzgearld - "He's a rooster without nuts."

Cook County Commissioner William Beavers is claiming he has proof the feds are lying. Beavers is scheduled to be tried on federal tax charges this December.
In an indictment released in February, prosecutors said Beavers took money from his campaign and county expense accounts and never paid taxes on that income.
On Thursday, Beavers released a bank slip he said proves he paid back some of that money years before he was indicted by the feds.
"And they claim that they didn't know anything about it. Well, all they had to do was ask me," Beavers told reporters.
The bank slip shows a $68,000 deposit, but that is less than one-third of the money the feds say he took from his campaign.
"What we're not going to do today is put our entire trial strategy out," explained Beavers' attorney, Vic Henderson.
Henderson and Beavers continue to claim the Democrat was indicted only because he refused to wear a wire.
Beavers never refuses to provide an off-color soundbite, though. At the press conference, he aimed sharp words at Patrick Fitzgerald, the U.S attorney who stepped down last week after nearly 11 years on the job.
"He's a rooster without nuts. That's a capon, okay?" Beavers said. "That's what he is. A capon.
The U.S. attorney's office, as it tends to in these situations, had no comment.

A good colored news story - Robert Nkemdiche (Black), the nation's No. 1 recruit won't sign the deal till they pick his buddy Ryan Carter (White)

Robert Nkemdiche, the nation's No. 1 recruit, is holding his commitment to Clemson hostage unless the Tigers' coaches meet his demand — offer his high school teammate a scholarship.
"I am waiting on Clemson to offer Ryan; when that happens, it's locked … it's a done deal … it's over," Nkemdiche, a defensive end, told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Ryan Carter is a 5-foot-10, 175-pound safety, who already has scholarship offers from Ole Miss, Georgia State, Tulane, Arkansas State and Southern Miss. According to Nkemdiche, giving Carter a scholarship wouldn't be a big deal because he's already caught the eye of Clemson's coaches.
"Clemson said they like Ryan a lot and that he's at the top of their board. Yes, sir, if Clemson offers Ryan, it would seal the deal. There's no ifs, ands or buts about it. David and Ryan, those guys are like family. They are like brothers to me. I'm close to them. We've had success playing football together and I don't want to change it."
Several of Nkemdiche's Grayson High teammates already have committed to play at Clemson — running back Wayne Gallman, defensive back David Kamara and former Grayson quarterback Nick Schuessler gave up his scholarship at Mississippi State to be a preferred walk-on with the Tigers.
Nkemdiche just wants Carter to be invited to the party.
So what if Clemson doesn't offer Carter? Well, Nkemdiche said he plans to look elsewhere like Ole Miss, where Nkemdiche's brother plays and where Carter already has an offer.
"If Clemson doesn't offer Ryan, it would make me look at Ole Miss a little more, it would," Nkemdiche said. "It's very important that I have my boys with me."

Reverend Michael James of Evanston, who is threatening to file a federal law suit for racial profiling after receiving a bike ticket in Glencoe June 30, says he was treated unfairly the day he was cited.
“There was nothing I was doing to break the law. I was concentrating on getting into shape to run the marathon with my daughter,” James said. “I actually stopped and began to stretch right near the police car before I was going to head back.”
James, who is African American, said Lieutenant Betsy Seno, who issued him the $25 citation for biking through a Sheridan Road construction area was, “viciously angry” in her treatment towards him.

Barney Frank marries his homosexual lover James Ready... Barney says that James is always READY for Barney's Frank

BOSTON (Reuters) - Democratic Representative Barney Frank wed his longtime partner, James Ready, on Saturday, becoming the first sitting congressman to enter into a same-sex marriage.
Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick officiated the ceremony and added some levity by saying Frank, 72, and Ready, 42, had vowed to love each other through Democratic and Republican administrations alike, and even through appearances on Fox News, according to Al Green, a Democratic congressman from Texas.
"Barney was beaming," said Green, who attended the ceremony. He added that Frank, a champion of gay rights and the sweeping reform of Wall Street, shed a tear during the ceremony.
After exchanging their vows, Frank and Ready embraced each other, Green said. "It was no different than any other wedding I've attended when you have two people who are in love with each other," Green said.
Frank, a Massachusetts Democrat and a former chairman of the powerful House Financial Services Committee, has been an openly gay congressman since the late 1980s.
He is well known for his legislative acumen, including as an architect of the reforms in the Dodd-Frank bill, which President Barack Obama signed into law in 2010 in the wake of the financial crisis following the collapse of the sub-prime mortgage market.

Indianapolis shooting: Social media-fueled feud led to colored gunfight that killed Larretha Draughon, IMPD says
To contact us Click HERE
The gunfight that killed 22-year-old Larretha “Lala” Draughon and injured five others started as an old-fashioned rumble with a modern twist.
Indianapolis’ interim police chief told The Indianapolis Star on Thursday that investigators believe the shooting at Ben Davis Park on Tuesday grew out of a social media-fueled feud that had played out between two rival groups of women on Twitter and Facebook.
Interim Chief Rick Hite would not say what the feud was about, but it escalated to the point that a fight at approximately midnight was arranged on social media. Hite said it’s not clear whether the women from the rival groups had ever actually met each other.
Hite also said the arranged throwdown was supposed to be just a fistfight — and investigators aren’t certain that any of the women were even armed.
The fight, he said, was not gang-related.
“They’re groups,” Hite said, “but not gangs.
“What we have is a bunch of grown women, who should have known better, acting like 17-year-olds. Who that age says, ‘Let’s meet at the schoolyard at midnight for a fight’?
“Women talking trash on Twitter like they’re teenagers, never meeting their rival face-to-face. They talk themselves into a corner, so when they do meet, ? there is no room for a peaceful resolution. It has to end one way.”
Draughon, a former Indiana All-Star basketball player at Northwest High School, was found dead in a parked car a couple of miles from Ben Davis Park. She had been shot in the chest.
Three other women — Takia Rice, 21; Sanasha Brewer, 20; and Jasmine Jennings, 20 — were shot, as well as two men, Trey Bebley, 25, and Tyrone Mills, 20. Their conditions have not been disclosed, though at least two of them have been released from the hospital.
Hite said investigators don’t think the men were involved in planning the brawl but said, “Where you got women, you’re going to have men.”
He said police recovered at least one gun and have conducted several interviews. He said investigators are making progress, though no arrests have been made.

Pittsburgh Police to Record Judicial 'Bad Behavior'

Pittsburgh officers, who have long grumbled about what they see as flaws in the magisterial district judge system, have taken to formally documenting their troubles.
July 06--Pittsburgh police officers, who have long grumbled about what they see as flaws in the magisterial district judge system, have taken to formally documenting their troubles with the hope that other officials will notice.
"I am continuously informed by officers from every division of the Bureau about outrageous actions, language and improper rulings that occur almost daily, primarily at the District Justice level," Sgt. Charles Henderson told rank-and-file officers in an email this week, urging them to keep a written log of what they view as judges' bad behavior in court. "There are procedural errors, improper remarks made to officers, sexist language used toward female officers and decisions made that far exceed the scope of a prima facie case; the limit of their authority."
Although he did not cite specific judges or cases, Sgt. Henderson also pointed to problems with "inappropriate bonds being set for violent offenders" and generally "appalling treatment."
Officers will detail their concerns on "case monitoring request forms" that they will show Allegheny County Common Pleas Judge Donna Jo McDaniel, who, they hope, can spot trends and offer recourse.
The effort offers a glimpse into the sometimes contentious relationship between police officers and the district judges who set bond and decide whether those they arrest should stand trial.
"At the very least, this will be an attempt to bring those elected officials up to the standard to which we are held," wrote Sgt. Henderson, who works in the Zone 5 station in Highland Park. "Why should we risk our lives for the cause of others only to be improperly and publicly mocked, chided and scorned by elected officials of the judicial branch who do not possess and/or exhibit the skills needed to fulfill their obligations to society?"
Deputy police Chief Paul Donaldson, who approved the plan, said it is the first formal effort to document officers' concerns that some judges are soft on criminals or are anti-police.
"There's not one incident that precipitated this [effort]," he said. "The form is new, but the complaints have been going on forever. Often, all we hear is grumbling among the officers, and they do have some legitimate complaints."
Judge McDaniel's staff said she was on vacation and unavailable to comment. Claire Capristo, chief deputy court administrator, said the president judge might be able to help sort out misunderstandings, but problems with judicial temperament are the purview of the state's Judicial Conduct Board, which investigates allegations of misconduct by judges.
Ms. Capristo said she was unaware of specific problems or complaints in district court but added, "they may regularly disagree with a magisterial district judge's decisions, but the individual is an elected official and they can make those decisions. ... If there is a misunderstanding or something like that, we'd certainly like the opportunity to discuss it, but if they don't like the way things are going or sentences people receive, there's not much we can do about that."
Police union president Sgt. Mike LaPorte said officers have reported trouble with several district judges.
"It's been an ongoing problem," Sgt. LaPorte said. "Officers will go to court and, in some cases, be berated in front of the victims and the people they have arrested."
He pointed to District Judge Oscar Petite Jr., who he said overstepped his bounds by dismissing criminal charges against Jordan Miles, the Creative And Performing Arts High School student who claims in a federal lawsuit that three plainclothes officers beat him during his arrest in January 2010.

Colored Thieves Steal 1/4 of Million Dollars in Colored Hair Extensions

Burglary took place less than 2 blocks from Chicago Police Headquarters Photo: Don Shin, who owns 35th Street Beauty Supply, talks about the $230,000 worth of hair extensions stolen from his shop overnight.
Thieves broke through a wall overnight and made off with $230,000 in hair extensions from a Southeast Side beauty supply store, police and the store owner said.
35th Street Beauty Supply, 260 E. 35th St., was bustling Saturday afternoon, but amid the walls covered with wigs and aisles filled with hair care products, owner Don Shin's most valuable merchandise was gone.
Three thieves who hammered their way into the business around 2 a.m. from an adjoining vacant storefront made off exclusively with natural hair extensions, the expensive, high-demand boxes of human hair women use for hair weaves, Chicago police and Chin said.
"They knew what they were doing. They didn't take any of the cheap stuff," Shin said. Surveillance footage showed three people carrying out a total of six large duffel bags filled with the hair extensions, which Shin expects the thieves will try to sell on the street or directly to salons.
Shin had been renovating the empty adjacent storefront to expand his business and hadn't put in alarms there yet. After breaking through the wall, the thieves crawled along the floor to evade motion detectors before ripping the wiring out of the alarm system.
Real hair extensions have been steadily going up in price as their popularity keeps increasing, Shin said, so he buys as much inventory as he can whenever he finds it.

Bridgeview Mayor Steven Landek - Just another one of Michael Madigan's protected crooks?
To contact us Click HERE
Chances are, you haven't heard of Steven Landek, the mayor of southwest suburban Bridgeview. Or you hadn't heard of him until the Tribune recently wrote about him.
Landek has built quite a political empire without much scrutiny. He has been a village trustee, Democratic township committeeman, highway commissioner and supervisor. He was appointed to the state Senate last year by his buddy, House Speaker Michael Madigan. Yes, Landek is both mayor of Bridgeview and a state senator.
But his political resume doesn't tell the half of it.
Tribune reporters Joseph Ryan and Joe Mahr recently revealed how Landek's long career in politics has personally benefited him and his friends.
The Lyons Township Democratic Organization, which Landek has overseen since 1998, rents office space in a building Landek owns, so contributions to the party organization go right into Landek's pocket through rent. Landek's organization has even paid Landek at least $50,000 in back rent he claimed he was owed. Get that? Landek demanded that Landek pay up. Landek complied.
Landek also collects rent from an accounting firm that occupies an office in one of Landek's buildings. Since 2005, the firm has made more than $1.2 million off of Bridgeview taxpayers and Toyota Park, the money-losing stadium built by the village. The accounting firm's president is treasurer of two of Landek's political funds.
The big story is Toyota Park, which Bridgeview taxpayers are stuck supporting through skyrocketing property taxes. The Tribune found more than $170,000 flowed to Landek's political funds from companies and people that have profited from the stadium since 2004.
Companies tied to the mayor's family sold $120,000 in janitorial and vending supplies to the village and the stadium.
This might be the richest example of unabashed political cronyism: The wives of the retired and current fire chiefs in Bridgeview created the company that provides medical staff for stadium events. The firm has been paid at least $788,000.
Meanwhile, the 20,000-seat stadium is sucking taxpayers dry.

Mishap at safety demonstration in Mount Prospect illustrates danger of fireworks - One person taken to hospital with burns
A fire chief's demonstration of the dangers of fireworks became a teachable moment Tuesday when a canister tipped over and shot fireworks into a crowd, injuring a fire safety advocate.
The incident occurred during a news conference at the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance headquarters in Mount Prospect. An ambulance took the group's assistant executive director, Laura Barros, to a hospital with a small burn on her foot.
At the tail end of the conference, Hillside Fire Department Chief Michael Kuryla tried to demonstrate the power of legally purchased novelty fireworks by lighting a sparkler and then igniting two fireworks canisters placed on a wooden pallet in the parking lot behind alliance headquarters.
In front of a crowd of news media, fire officials and alliance staff members, one of the canisters tipped over and shot fireworks into the crowd. The one that struck Barros on the top of her left foot left a small, black burn.
Crowd members immediately rushed to Barros' aid, pouring cold water on the burn and calling for an ambulance.

There was no immediate word on what Jackson is suffering from nor how long his absence from Congress might continue.

ORLANDO, Fla. – The neighborhood watch volunteer who fatally wounded by Trayvon Martin can be released from jail while he awaits trial on a second-degree murder charge.
A Florida judge on Thursday granted bond for a second time to George Zimmerman. Bail was set at $1 million.
Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester had revoked Zimmerman's $150,000 bond last month after prosecutors told the judge Zimmerman and his wife misled the court about how much money they had during an April bond hearing.
Prosecutors said a website Zimmerman created for his legal defense had raised $135,000 at the time of his first bond hearing. Zimmerman and his wife did not mention the money then, and Shellie Zimmerman even said the couple had limited resources because she was a student and he wasn't working.

Police are crediting the Tribune and CTA security cameras for the arrest of Christopher Brown, 50, on Monday.
It was the same day the Tribune's Getting Around column chronicled the June 22 pickpocketing of an Atlanta man at the Jackson stop that police said was typical of recent attacks on CTA riders at that high-crime rail station.
A Tribune reader who saw the story called the newspaper on Monday to report that on Sunday he was also victimized by a pickpocket team when he boarded a train at the Jackson subway station.

JOLIET, IL - Megan A. Reed taped & bound her colored infant

I want to smoke a blunt and get anally gang banged but there is no babysitter around.. Damn, maybe I just bound the little chitlings up in tape!!!! Yes!!!!
Police say a man didn’t think it was as funny as his son’s mother when she sent him a picture of the 1-year-old boy bound and gagged with tape in southwest suburban Joliet.
Megan A. Reed, 23, told investigators the incident occurred in September when she was watching over several children who were playing with tape, Chief Mike Trafton said.
“She admitted taking a photo with her phone and sent it in February to the boy’s father,” Trafton said. Two months later, the man came to police and said he’d had trouble opening messages on his new phone, but had finally gotten it to work.
According to reports, the image shows the boy’s mouth is covered and his hands are bound with the clear tape.
A warrant was issued for Reed’s arrest, but she was reportedly out of the state until June when she came into the police station with a lawyer. She allegedly said the kids were having fun and her cousin taped the infant and the tape was removed after the photo.
On Monday, Reed, of 450 Nobes Ave. in Lockport, was arrested and booked into the county jail on charges of unlawful restraint and endangering the life or health of a child.

Dick Morris discusses what motivates Obama: Does he want to destroy America or is he just wrong or even stupid?
A Must See - I really hope you all watch this Very Very Important
I have to say that this is one of the clearest and scariest explanations of what is going on that I have seen… And WOW is it important!
This is certainly worth seeing to get an idea of what the future may well bring. You may agree with the process as it’s going now, but at least you’ll understand what the intended result is going to be. If you like it, fine, just so you know what it is you are rooting for.
This is excellent - no name calling just FACTS!!!!!
Here is a video by Dick Morris, President Clinton's former advisor.
It's relatively short and is worthwhile as he relates his theory of what Obama is attempting to do.
